Booking Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions for Rachel Bolton’s You and Your Dog Weekend Retreat before submitting your payment and booking form: Important Retreat Information: Accessibility and alternative arrangements:1. We regret to inform you that the Retreat location is not wheelchair-friendly. There are several steps throughout the property and there is no lift available. There is a flight of stairs to access the studio area and up to two flights of stairs within the main accommodation building. If you would prefer a bedroom on the first floor rather than the second floor, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate you. 2. If you or your dog have any special dietary requests or needs you are responsible for telling us at the time of booking. You and your dog1. The Retreat location landscape may include stone areas, hills and slopes. You are responsible for ensuring that you and your dog/s explore safely. 2. During the Retreat it is essential that you accompany your dog at all times while off-leash in common areas. 3. You will be responsible for tidying up any litter or dog mess during your stay. 4. Every attention and care is taken to ensure all dogs remain safe during the Retreat, but you are responsible for making sure your dog is understood by the other people attending. 5. Due to the nature of the Retreat your dog will be interacting with several other dogs and people. Please make sure that your dog has the right temperament for this kind of social interaction. 6. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any dog on heat during the retreat due to the disruption that it would cause to the other dogs. If you have any questions about this, please get in touch. 7. There are some water bowls and dog towels available at the Retreat location. However, please bring your own dog bed and food bowl with you. Liability1. We do not take liability for any damage to your property or loss of your property during the Retreat. Payment1. To secure your booking a deposit payment of 50% of the retreat place/s must be sent in full with your booking form. 2. Payment of the balance will be required not less than 60 days prior to the Retreat start date. 3. If the balance of the booking is not received when requested 60 days prior to the Retreat start date, your place will be offered to those on the waiting list. 4. Deposits are non-refundable. 5. If the booking is made within 60 days prior to the Retreat start date, then full payment must be made to secure your place. 6. Confirmation of your booking will be sent out via email after your payment has cleared. 7. Any client who wishes to cancel must do so in writing and the following fees or percentages will be charged based on the date of receipt in writing via email by Velius Travel Ltd. of notification of cancellation. Cancellations will take effect the day said written notification is received by us. Standard conditionsIf Cancelled: Maximum charge: 60 days or more before Retreat start date Deposit Between 59-30 days before departure 60% of Retreat cost 29 days or less before departure 100% of Retreat cost
9. If a cancellation is made and we successfully resell your place, then you will be entitled to transfer the monies paid according to the cancellation fee policy towards the cost of a future retreat. If we do not resell your place, we reserve the right to keep all cancellation fee monies and not offer any alternate dates. 10. Once the Retreat has begun no refunds or cancellations apply. 11. Comprehensive travel insurance. It is a condition of our accepting your booking that you be insured for the duration of the Retreat. 12. Once we have issued you with a confirmation email, we will do our very best not to make any changes to your booking or to cancel it, but we reserve the right to make changes in circumstances including but not limited to: bad weather and smaller group sizes. Please note that no refund or compensation will be payable in these circumstances. 13. The number of people and dogs entitled to stay in the room shall not exceed the number stated when booking.
